Licence identity: Sense CMS Mastodon Publisher Plugin / Mastodon Publisher Plugin. The 32-character key, installation domain, start date and expiry date are validated independently.

Mastodon does not require a paid central API plan for this flow. The annual Sense CMS fee funds extension development, compatibility maintenance and monitoring.

Connect multiple accounts from one or more public Mastodon servers. Each server registers the Sense CMS installation as its own OAuth application; there is no central developer-console dependency.
Editors explicitly choose every destination and may customize the message per account.
Minimal OAuth and network safety
The plugin requests only read:accounts and write:statuses. OAuth uses state and PKCE. Access tokens and each server-specific app secret are encrypted inside the installation; passwords never enter Sense CMS.
Public HTTPS-only instance validation, pinned DNS resolution and disabled redirects prevent private-network access through a supplied server address.
Reliable publishing
Each reviewed status includes the canonical Sense CMS link and an idempotency key, preventing duplicate delivery during a safe retry. The initial compatibility profile supports public statuses within the standard 500-character limit.
